Excerpt

Various tools and frameworks provide the possibility to analyse Java code for various purposes. These can vary from simple tasks such as deriving lines of code to performing more complex activities like vulnerability scanning. How can you build such a tool on your own ? In this session we will look at the possibilities provided by two of the most developed and up to date frameworks in the Java space: Eclipse JDT and JavaParser. We will build a relatively simple yet powerful enough Java code analysis tool using the two and compare the end result.
